This website was created to raise public awareness about voicetracking and what it can do to our communities across America, and to challenge media companies to start serving the people that listen to them.
The FCC has a rule that voicetracking is illegal, although thousands of stations throughout the country, typically those that are owned by large media companies, use it.
Did you know a 30-second spot on most radio stations costs just as much as it would to employ a live DJ for 2-4 hours?
If they are so cheap as to save that little amount of money, why should we listen?
We, the people of America, must SAVE radio.
We urge you to sign the petition that will be forwarded to large media companies and the US Congress, to stop voicetracking, and bring back live, local radio.
