How Voicetracking Harms YOU

Here are some examples:

- In Minot, ND, there was a major train wreck that was spreading harmful chemicals over the city. Since 6 out of the 7 commercial stations in Minot were voicetracked during that daypart, crucial information was not delivered.
- It hurts us, the listeners, more than anyone. We are the ones that lose out- isn't radio about interaction with the disk jockey/personality? Big media companies have made it impossible to have live, local service.
- What if there was a major breaking story in your city, and you were in an office that had no windows, and listening to a station that was voicetracked? You would not get crucial evacuation information and/or directions. THAT could impact, in this ever-changing environment, all of us in a major way.
